One big story.
"It'll be fun while it lasts." - Woody, Toy Story 2

I'll just say it off the bat. Toy Story 3 is definitely the most amazing animated Pixar film I will ever see this year. In a sentence, it is truly the most perfect ending to a wonderful animated trilogy that's been around since 1995.

It's been 11 years since Toy Story 2 hit the cinemas. And now in 2010, John Lasseter returns with Toy Story 3. The grand finale to an adventure that no other cartoon can compete with.

Like the previous 2 installments, Toy Story 3 doesn't fail to deliver what the series does best. Fun, comedic dialogue, comical action sequences, the witty underlying innuendos in conversations and of course, the heartwarming scenes that never fail to make you tear up. Even if just a bit.
So Toy Story 3 picks up when Andy turns 17 and is about to head off to college. And it's been years since the toys have been played with. And mind, his room is no longer filled with toys. The green army leaves. RC is gone. Along with the dinosaur eggs, the binoculars, Mr. Spell, Rocky. All of them are gone. And yes, including Bo Peep and her flock of sheep.

The remaining toys are Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Hamm, Rex, Slinky, Mr and Mrs Potato Head and Bullseye. Oh and Barbie, who gets dumped by Molly, Andy's sister. So in a nutshell, Andy's mum falls under the impression that Andy wanted to trash his toys so she brings them down to the road curb to be collected by the garbage dudes. But, knowing the toys, OF COURSE they're not gonna let themselves be trashed like that. They escape into the box marked 'Sunnyside' which is a daycare centre, in the hopes of getting playtime with children and forever experiencing love without ever getting old.

But of course things don't work out. The daycare centre is run by an evil bear at the top of a hierarchy built by him and the story unfolds.

And this is definitely the finest Toy Story installment. With the memories of the previous 2 episodes, you are constantly reminded of everything these toys have been through together. Even the opening sequence, a little scenario played out by young Andy with his toys, is tear-jerking enough because you know that this beautiful childhood memory can never be played again because Andy's growing up and there's not much possibility left of him playing with his toys.

When the toys all hold hands, not even able to say goodbye to each other as they draw nearer to the fiery incinerator waiting to burn them, you will be thankful for the darkness of the theater so that no one will be able to see you cry.

Now I just want to take a moment to revisit some of my favorite moments (and characters) in the past 2 episodes of this toy story :)
"What do you say I get someone else to look after the sheep tonight?"

"Buzz Lightyear to Star Command. Come in, Star Command."
"Look, I'm Picasso."
"Look, we're all very impressed with Andy's new toy..."
Hamm and Mr Potato playing Buzz Lightyear poker cards.
Buzz and Woody on RC, catching up with the delivery truck.
Crossing the road in Toy Story 2.
"He's MINT in the box! Never been opened!"
"We've waited countless years for this day."
"Let's... go home."
This has got to be my favorite part in the entire series.
Well, that concludes Toy Story. And my favorite experiences from the series. I love the story, I love the characters, I love Jessie the most though, because she's my favorite character, I love toys.
And I'll never ever throw my toys away. No matter what :')
